At this time of year we are often under time pressure to complete an installation due to the issues with the UK weather. After a week of rain and snow we were able to complete this MMA High Friction Surfacing installation outside of Sainsburys in Staplehurst, Kent on behalf of Walker Construction. We received some great feedback from the client, who were happy with our professionalism and workmanship and look forward to completing other aspects of the project in the coming days and weeks.
Methyl Methacrylate Adhesive (MMA) is a cold applied faster curing alternative to epoxy resin and can be installed in large quantities. In order to ensure adhesion and longevity we recommend that the surface is primed prior to the MMA being applied with a squeegee. The aggregate, in this case grey bauxite, is then applied with a thorough sweep of the site being carried out afterwards.
