KEYJOINT MEMBRANE
The Keyjoint System was developed as a quick low cost stress absorbing joint treatment in response to the ever-increasing problem of joints cracking. The Keyjoint System uses a specially modified bituminous binder, which initially fills in the cracks; this also acts as a binder, which holds in place the glass fibre mesh. The glass fibre mesh used is of a specific mesh size and strength that enables it to contain the reflective cracking emanating from below. The joint is topped using an anti-skid coating, which incorporates high PSV bauxite.
